We’ll pick you up from any hotel in the downtown area about an hour before your tour is scheduled to begin. This way you can sit back and relax, and let us do all the work for you. After your tour is over, we’ll drop you back off at your hotel. What to Expect on Your Tour

Many people visit Airboat Adventures for a chance to see some alligators up close, and maybe even hold one. While this is certainly one of the highlights, you might be surprised at the variety of wildlife we encounter on our tours. Birds like herons, egrets, hawks, and owls make their homes in the swamp all year round. During the winter, the number of birds increases, since many migrating species make their homes here to escape the cold weather up north. Raccoons, deer, and other mammals make frequent appearances as well, especially in cooler weather. On the other hand, alligators are more active during the warmer months. However, they can still be seen soaking up the sun throughout the year.

Planning Your Visit

Because New Orleans enjoys a fairly warm climate all year long, we stay open throughout the year and make several trips a day into the swamp. If you’re looking for things to do in New Orleans, give us a call to plan your next adventure. We have different sizes of boats to accommodate both large and small groups comfortably. Aside from our regularly scheduled tours, we also offer sunset tours or extended tours on request. Our experienced tour guides would love to show you everything this incredible area has to offer.
