Great tour with wonderful scenery, lots of alligators and other wildlife. Well organized; the pickup worked great. Our guide, Larry, was very personable and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend! My only downside, hence 4 vs 5 stars is that was one of the few tours I have ever gone on that didn't have some cold water for us (and probably the one that needed it most). So BYOW.

Thought it was going to be fun — it was amazing! Well organized, comfortable boat ride. Our guide interacted with a huge gator, as well as birds and raccoons, & was very fun & informative. Highly recommended!!!

Went there on the 1st trip of the day Captain Larry was amazing! He is funny and very knowledgeable about the area. We saw alligators and raccoons! We were not expecting that we love raccoons. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a Alligator tour.

My husband and I booked a swamp tour on one of the small air boats. We were visiting New Orleans for Labor Day weekend and wanted to try something different. Our tour guide was captain Larry and he did a very good job telling us about the local wildlife and vegetation. I have never been so close to alligators in my life it was great.

I would give this excursion 6 stars if I could. From start to finish it was fantastic. The communication before the excursion was great - we knew where we'd be picked up, at what time and what the bus would look like. We knew what to take and what to expect. The transfer to Jean Lafitte from near our hotel was super. It was comforting to know that we would be taken direct to the Airboat Adventure. Checking in at the site was easy, and the waiting area and bar were very clean and tidy. We were introduced to Mark, our captain for the trip, and he was a lot of fun! We saw loads of Alligators, different sea/water birds, buzzards, fish and even a raccoon (or Cajun Koala, as Mark called it!). Mark was funny, knowledgeable and an excellent tour guide. Our trip back to New Orleans was very comfortable too and we were dropped back at our pick up spot. All in all, a very well organised and executed trip! Thanks for the experience!

Had an incredible time on the small airboat tour. We got to see so many gators of all sizes and learn about the area’s beautiful and diverse ecosystem. Captain Mark was knowledgeable, charming, and most importantly a total hottie (sorry to Mark if that is inappropriate!), so even if you didn’t get to see any gators, you’d at least get to see Mark (double sorry to Mark if that just made this even more inappropriate!). 10/10 would recommend!

Had a fabulous time on 8/30/25 out there with Air Boat Adventures. I learned and saw so much while on the boat. Totally would recommend this experience, especially to those who love watching and being in nature. Also didn't know Alligators loved Marshmallows.

Loved when the guide kissed the alligator and fed him marshmallows.

This is a must do!! I have always wanted to do an airboat tour and it lived up to my excitement and more. Our tour guide Jay, was the best! So very knowledgeable and funny too! He said he wanted the tour to feel like you’re with a family friend, and he succeeded at that. Would definitely do this tour again!

I so enjoyed myself! I go to sleep watching swamp people every night! Lol so I felt like I was right out there with them. If I had a complaint it would be that the alligators we saw were small. Made me feel like they breed them there…. But at the same time it open water bayou sooooo maybe they didn’t want to show up for work! Iykyk….captian Larry kept us entertained and even got out of the boat to play with a gator 🐊! Don’t forget to go see the albino gator….. it was sleep when we went so not much to see other than its pretty white color. Just pay attention to what you’re being charged. Online shows $75 per person for large air boat but thru agent is $89 person with round trip transportation.

The tour was a blast. Seeing all the wildlife was awesome. Capt Larry was entertaining, knowledgeable and had mad piloting skills.

We had a wonderful private smal airboat swamp tour with Brad. It was absolutely amazing to see his love and passion for the swamps and all the creatures living there. Very impressive knowledge amd some great stories! We saw lots of alligators, herons, cormorans and various other birds. It was very exciting to learn about the swamps and the whole ecosystem as we never had any experience with it. We would definitely recommend and would love to do it again.

This tour was exceptional. My boyfriend and I are in town for Southern Decadence but wanted to do something else in addition to partying and I’m so glad that we booked this tour on Viator. The pickup was convenient, everyone was friendly and informative, and the length of the tour was perfect: not too long nor short. We got to see plenty of gators, birds, raccoons, and more. I think we got lucky because today is August 29th and the overcast/clouds permitted for nice weather that wasn’t too hot at all for the 12:00pm boat, but we’re from Texas so maybe we are just better acclimated.

Pontoon boat bayou excursion was well presented. Love the available beverage before the tour.

Fun!! Our guide (sorry, can't remember his name) was great fun. Funny, informative, with just a touch of crass. Hope you get him on your boat. High speed at times with breaks for questions and pictures.

This tour was so much fun!!! Larry P was such a great tour guide and taught us about plants, fish, birds, gators, and crocs. If you’re going on a swamp tour you definitely want someone like Larry as your guide. He is a true southerner with a heart of gold. Thanks Larry!!! If we are ever in New Orleans again we hope we cross paths again.
