Thank you for visiting our guestbook. We would love it if you would add any comments about your experience with us!
What a memorable time my parents from Kansas, we and our children had with Capt. Sammy! He is a truly engaging guide and his love of the alligators is genuine. We couldn’t believe his fearlessness in getting them to jump and come out of the water after those marshmallows! Thank you for a great afternoon. We will recommend this tour to others.

Hi Mark,
My wife & I and 2 young boys (ages 7 & 10) went on your 9:45am morning Airboat
Swamp Tour w/Captain Stevie Adams on Good Friday. The tour was great and he was
fantastic...he was very informative, personable, funny, and fun for everyone.
What an asset he is to this organization/company. My kids are still talking
about it. We'll recommend it to our friends, and we'll be back, too! Tell him,
"Thanks again"!

Dear Mark,
My husband, Charlie Knecht, and I recently took a tour with your airboat company. Sam was our tour guide’s name. I wanted to tell you that it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was extremely well informed and gave just the right amount of information, answered questions completely to our satisfaction and made us fall in love with the area and leave with a more complete understanding of the delicate balances required to extend the life of this beautiful area. Thank you, thank you, thank you for providing a great service as well as what I hope is a thriving business for you. We will recommend you to anyone we know that is traveling to the bayou country. Many thanks to Cap’n Sam….our family from Denver (there for my husband’s 60th birthday) had a great time. We learned so much about the swamps, canals and critters – Sam was a grand friend to guide us all and full of great “swamp facts”.

We wanted to thank you for a great time. The airboat ride in itself was a lot of fun, but to see alligators up close was awesome! Our guide, Sam was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about the area and alligators. We recently moved here from New Mexico and wanted to learn more about the area and its inhabitants. This certainly fit the bill. We will definitely recommend Airboat Adventures to all who come to visit us. Thanks again for a great "adventure", Bobby, Dayona and Cynde

WOW! Myself and my friends all thought that the AIRBOAT
tour was the high
point of our trip to New Orleans. The best use of marsh mallows I've ever
seen. I would tell all to take the tour if you are anywhere near the swamp!
It also helps you build your thirst that can be quenched on Bourbon street!

Hi! Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Sam and everyone else at Airboat Adventures. It was nice to travel to New Orleans and make it off Bourbon Street. The tour was exciting, fun, informative, and beautiful. It exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back for a different tour (did you know the guides never go the same way twice?). My boyfriend and I had a blast… even though we were hung over (that should say a lot)!
Thanks again!!

I was down in Nawlins' the week of August 7th helping out with the reconstruction efforts. My crew decided to take some time off to experience some of the local attractions and did we ever find one! Attraction is an understatement when speaking about Airboat Adventures LLC. Our guide, Sam, did an OUTSTANDING job. I've been on all sorts of tours around the continental U.S. but none of them came close to being as enjoyable as the swamp tour, WOW!!

Hi Mark,
My friend and I were on Sam's tour in the morning on Friday, 5/5. I just wanted to email to tell you what a wonderful experience we had. The airboat was really fun, and Sam is the king of the gators. We had so much interaction with the alligators (Sally, Psycho and Blinky, plus Junior, the 18" baby). Sam was a very engaging, entertaining guide, and he certainly knows how to put on a show with those alligators.
Mark, I cannot imagine a more rewarding tour. I promise that anyone within my circle of acquaintance traveling to your area will be informed in great detail of the quality tours you provide. I look forward to a return trip when I can bring my husband and sons along.
Many thanks, Victoria Kent-Dotson

Just wanted to thank Sam for the wonderful
private and personalized airboat tour he gave us last week. It was
awesome! Feeding the owl and alligators (all sizes) was great. I
especially enjoyed holding the 3-year old alligator. They're soooo strong!
Sam was very knowledgeable and gave us the best tour I've ever had! Sam
really enjoys his work, and if I had to guess, I'd say he's part alligator
himself! The Everglades Alligator Farm in Florida has nothing on you guys.
I'd recommend your tours to anyone in a heartbeat! What a ride. Keep

Hello! My name is Melissa Yount, and me, my husband, and two friends took the 3:00 airboat tour with Captain Sam on Saturday, February 25. I just wanted you to know that we had a blast!! Sam is definitely an asset to your company! He loves what he does, and it absolutely shows! We went to New Orleans for the whole weekend, saw and done many, many things, but this is by far the coolest thing we experienced! I plan to come again this summer. Keep up the excellent job! Give our best to Sam, and God Bless! Sincerely, Melissa Yount :)
I had the pleasure of taking your tour with Capt. Sammy on
Nov. 10th, 2004. I chose your company after reading your customer
comments. Everything that has been written proved to be 100% accurate in
terms of my experience. IT WAS GREAT and NOT TO BE MISSED!
The six passenger boat allows you to get into some small areas that are both
remote and beautiful. On our trip we saw among other animals, a 7ft
alligator up close and personal, a raccoon, and several owls.
I would highly recommend this tour to any one visiting the New Orleans area and
who would be interested in seeing this unique and fascinating habitat.

The Louisiana Bayou has snagged our hearts, thanks to Chris and his magical airboat excursion into the water ways around Lake Maurepas. From the time Ferdinand picked us up at the hotel, and the quiet dawn launch, the trip was bound to be one of our very favorite tours of a lifetime. Chris taught us about the Bayou, gentle humor, and getting up close and personal with so many forms of wild life, plants and trees. We were enchanted by the beauty of the sunrise mists, and the information that Chris willingly shared about this very special place. His respect and admiration for the byways and “highways” of the bayou were very appreciated by two Kansas Flatlanders. This was not a “swamp” tour, this was the heart and soul of the Bayou, a living, moving American waterway. The gators, the ducks, eagles, and most especially the swooping owl were memorable. Don’t miss the opportunity to see, hear, photograph, and enjoy the BEST guide and air boat tour in Louisiana. You were so right, Chris, the airboat tour lets you get into the “candy store” and not just watch from the outside window. Thanks again, for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Chris:
My husband Scott and I were in Louisiana last week and had the incredible
experience of a sunset swamp tour, with Captain Sam as our guide. The
swamp is such a beautiful place! We had the opportunity to see many alligators,
frogs, an owl and many other birds. Captain Sam provided a wealth of
information about the animals and the area - we learned and laughed - a
lot. He's a very entertaining guide!
As the sun set, we were able to enjoy a new and different view of the
swamp. What an intriguing transformation! Captain Sam used
a spotlight to show us
various animals along our route. He explained how we could tell one animal
from another based on the glow of their eyes. He also caught a young
alligator and brought it on the boat with us. Then he let me hold it -
what an experience! That little gator was much more scared of me than I could
ever be of him! We had a wonderful tour! When we visit Louisiana again, we
would gladly
take another trip through the swamp land. And we would use Airboat Adventures
again!
Thanks for a great experience!
Sincerely,
Traci and Scott Sciuchetti

Dear Air Boat Adventures/Capt. Sam,
Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful swamp tour on Saturday, Oct. 2.
After being in the airboat for only a few minutes and seeing a gorgeous bald
eagle take flight right in front of us I knew this would be a special trip.
My husband was skeptical when I suggested taking a fan boat tour but he
thought it was amazing and beautiful too! Thanks so much for sharing your
expertise and knowledge about the swamp and its creatures with us. It's a
memory of a lifetime. We hope to bring the kids with us the next time.

The trip was great. Even better than the one five years ago! Like
this spot much better. We will be back and send everyone that we know to

were called, pretty little things, also everyone at work couldn't believe that I
fed the Gator. It was so relaxing could have spent the whole day out in
swamp. I sent some pictures to your e-mail address will have some more once my
daughter burns the CD for me. It was the best part of our trip to New Orleans.
Hope you didn't get to much damage from Ivan. Enjoy the pictures.

Dear Capt. Sam and Folks at Airboat Adventures,
My friends and I get away from kids, worries, etc. once a year and New Orleans
was it this time. One of our friends, Matt, really wanted to go on an
airboat swamp tour. I had never heard of anything like that, but agreed to
be "adventurous". What a huge and very pleasant surprise.
Capt. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and answered every, and I do mean, every
question we could possible think of. The experience was truly nothing like
I imagined....it was awesome. Thanks on behalf of me, Kate, Wendy, Sheryl
and Matt from Waco and Tyler, Texas. We shall recommend you all to
everyone visiting and insist that they take the tour!!! And, by the way,
we'll be back as well. Godspeed.

I wanted to write an email to let you guys know what a wonderful time we
had on our trip. We took the airboat tour on July 7th out of New
Orleans.
Our tour guide was Chris. We had a blast. I would have to say
this was
one of our highlights of our trip. Chris was very knowledgeable and
thorough on the tour, explaining the ecology of the land and showing us
interesting things. Of course the alligators were fun to watch,
thankful
they didn't climb in the boat. Lurch was a bit scary.

Melora and I took your tour Friday July 23 at 9:30am and thought it

It was an unforgettable experience. I learned a great deal about the swamp and

purple gallinules.
You know the swampland like the back of your hand and clearly love it. Thanks

(July 17, 2004) Chris, you gave us an EXCELLENT tour!
The 7am tour is DEFINITELY worth the trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed the

opportunities. Your knowledge of the area--as well as the flora and
fauna--was top notch. Thanks for being so courteous and interested in
ensuring our enjoyment. You showed us such a gorgeous part of the south.
We definitely sensed your genuine love of the swamp and its inhabitants.

My husband and I had a blast on the Airboat Tour in June

introduced us to his "yard dogs". Lurch was incredible- when Capt. Sam

The limited seating of the airboat made the tour very intimate. Todd

Our Airboat Adventure was without a doubt the
best fun we had on our recent trip to New Orleans. It was great
being on the airboat (which only seats a max of 6 passengers - so it was very

if she had any questions. My daughter loved weaving through the cypress trees
and flying fast across the grassy marsh lands. Thank you again! We will always
remember our time there and will recommend Airboat Adventures to all.

This is my second trip to New Orleans and my second
swamp tour and all I can say is you guys are the greatest!!! Sam gave us
an excellent tour of the swamp and all six of us were extremely impressed.
As you say this is the real deal and you
get people right out into the swamp. There is no comparison to my previous
so called swamp tour. Your six passenger air boats with one of your
knowledgeable guides is the only way to go and can only result in one thing, a
great afternoon trip!!! Thanks again.

Dear Folks,
My boyfriend and I took a trip to New Orleans this past March. When he
asked me if there was anything I wanted to do, I said I wanted to go on a swamp
tour. He immediately found a more "traditional" tour - larger
boat, et al - but I wanted an airboat, the ones you saw in the movies.
Being a lifelong Yankee, it had always been a fantasy of mine. Well, he
found you.
That was the most fun I've ever had on a
trip. Both of us, really. We were guided expertly by Donnie
Miculek who weaved in and out of the fabulous cypress trees, slowing or stopping
to point out the intricacies of your wonderful landscape.
We both feared a "wanna-be" comic guide and were utterly thrilled with
Donnie. He was funny, warm, extremely knowledgeable
and charming. Our only regret was that he didn't invite us over for dinner! We got off the boat wanting to get right back on and do it again!
We've returned with scads of photos form the swamp including one of me holding a
young alligator - which made quite the stir up here in Massachusetts. We
plan on visiting New Orleans soon and will no doubt come back for another tour!
Thank you so much for an incredible experience. It was wonderful!
Your best to you,

Thanks again for a great tour on March 31st. Vince and I agree this was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans! I was so impressed

One of the most fantastic time we had while in New Orleans was during the tour we took with Airboat Adventures.
In spite of the warnings from other tour operators that we would not see any animals on an airboat and that our
young son would be very uncomfortable, all three of us had a wonderful time. We never came across another swamp
tour boat during the whole two hours and we saw lot's of animals: nutrias (babies and adults), white egrets, blue
herons, ducks, and we even had the
privilege of seeing a pair of bald eagles. We can wholeheartedly
recommend
this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Louisiana swamp without being with a
horde of other tourists!

We have been on
airboat rides before in Florida's Everglades, but nothing even comes close to
this swamp. It was far more beautiful and fun. Our guide,
Sam, was attentive to our wants -- I asked to see some camps and he took us to
see exactly what I imagined/wanted. Well worth the money and we'd like to
come again. Only suggestion is if you're trying to find them, it's hard to
know what parking lot to meet in (they use a public launch dock)...maybe a sign
or something would be a good idea??? Anyways, it was awesome and my

I recently made my first trip to New Orleans and I have
been raving about it to anyone who will listen! One of the highlights was
definitely the Airboat Adventures Swamp Tour!! I have traveled around the
world and always try to take some type of tour of the places I visit. This
was, without a doubt, a favorite! Seeing a part of Louisiana that would
otherwise be off limits was really a treat. The swamp was beautiful,
mysterious, and exciting - completely different than anything I had seen before.
The boat ride was definitely a thrill - more like a roller coaster ride at
times. Our guide (Chris) was knowledgeable, fun, a true American version
of "Crocodile Dundee"! The fact that he was a total hunk didn't
hurt either!! Seeing an alligator in such close proximity was wonderful
and scary at the same time. I have new appreciation, and a better
understanding, of these creatures. This was definitely unforgettable - not
to be missed. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!!!!

We started out the month of October in the swamplands of
Louisiana, now the month is over so the N.C. Swamp Foxes are getting
together tonight
to look at all the pictures of the tour and our trip to New Orleans. We
still all agree that the swamp tour was the highlight of our trip.
I've looked at the website (it's a great website, compliments to it's creator)
and you have so many interesting events coming up. My Dad
would love to do the Duck Hunt. He's an avid hunter. I have two Labrador
retrievers - they would love it as well. We are outdoor
folks.
It's a beautiful day here in Carolina. The same cool, crisp, sunny day
like we had for our tour. And, I feel great. Life is good. So
naturally this day takes me back to the beauty, peace, and tranquility of the
swamp. But, the swamp also has mystery. Along with the serenity
above the water's surface, comes the mystery and excitement of the huge,
powerful gators that live below. That is so exciting!
Thanks again for a wonderful tour. Airboat Adventures truly does have
something for everyone. (I should be paid for advertising for you guys.)
Have a great day.

Chris,
I just wanted to drop you a note to say THANKS! for the awesome swamp tour.
I had done a lot of research before I booked the tour as I really wanted it to be the real thing.
Not some big boat tourist trap. I couldn't be happier with the end results. Sam
our guide was wonderful, we set out early Sat. Sept 6th
@ 7:30, this was the perfect time of day.
We saw all kinds of wildlife, and Sam always took time to stop and give us all
the
history of the area and info on what we were seeing. This was my first time
to New Orleans, and my husband's second. While I enjoyed the city and all
its sights, Saturday with it's early morning swamp tour and then the private
tour of the Evergreen Plantation that you had arranged for us were by far
the best part of our trip. I want to thank you and your crew again for all
your help in setting up the plantation tour, and for making our trip to New
Orleans one I will remember all my life.

great! Our van driver was very personable. He grew up in New Orleans and

the plantation and very passoinate on the subject. She was great.
The airboat tour was wonderful. Our guide Ben was very nice. He
also seemed to really enjoy being out in the water. He was able to

My vacation is over and I'm back at my desk with work piled
up around me, and ... I want to go back to the Swamp! We had such a great time
there. The weather was perfect, the scenery was all I had imagined. It was
like a postcard. Capt. Sam told us some swamp history and taught us about the
ecology and the animals and the way the swamp works. I'll always remember
holding that alligator. The airboat was really great fun when Sam opened it
up, and that shady, secluded trappers' cabin was very intriguing. What a
wonderful place to have grown up! Your crew was courteous, friendly, and
seemed eager to show us visitors a place that they were proud of and cared
for. The small group size (4 in our boat) made it easy to get a personalized
experience. When I think about my next vacation and make plans for getting
away from the office again, I'll remember the swamp and what it felt like to
be hidden away from the world for awhile. Your
tour sets a high standard that other vacation get-aways should try to meet.

Dear Chris,
As a native, and one who is employed at an historic manor house in the
area, I have seen many swamps and enjoyed many different tours, however my
recent airboat "adventure" rates right up there at the top of my
list. My out of town friends said it was the highlight of their visit to New
Orleans - and we saw a lot in the week there were here. Your airboat adventure
presented our beautiful swamps in a way I that have never seen them before.
There is nothing like a personal experience to make you appreciate the
beauty and complexity of this environment. I will be recommending this

Chris- It was memorable and enjoyable; cold, but enjoyable! Thanks for providing sleeping bags, we would have otherwise been chilled to the bones. The kids had a great time, as did my husband and I. Alan was dynamite and lots of fun! The shuttle service w/Hussan was great too! He stopped by the hotel and picked up our luggage on the way to the cruise ship. Hopefully we tipped him enough. I thank you for all the arrangements and a pleasurable time. It will be remembered for a long time to come and I'd recommend it to others in a heartbeat. Thanks again, and God Bless, Kim, Bill, Aubrey & Bryce (March 29, 2003)
Dear Ben,
I remember what not to call you! I seriously have to say, my children
and I had a wonderful time. My son is 14, my daughter 16. We had
the best time with you in the airboat! Even my son having a baby
alligator wrapped around his neck! What great pictures. They now
have a greater appreciation of the wetlands and it's creatures! My
daughter wasn't looking forward to the trip, but it turned out to be a
highlight for Spring Break. The knowledge you imparted was fantastic!
I looked at many brochures and many of the signs on the way to your dock.
Many of them were cheaper and had great advertisements. I was wondering
if I hadn't made a financial mistake. After the tour, I have no regrets.
A fantastic time was had by all! I would do it again in a heartbeat, and
will, if we pass by that way again. Thank you Ben!

Chris,
We truly appreciated the wonderful tour Benjamin gave us on Monday afternoon.
The small group provided an intimate, personable tour through the swamps and
marshland. We were very impressed by the knowlie talking about the Spanish
moss, other trees, plants and animals. The most enjoyable part was cruising in
and out of all the old cypress trees with the reflection of the tall trees in
the water deep into the swamp. You really have something to offer all
the visitors to New Orleans. Thanks,

Hello Chris -
We just wanted to drop you a note to let you and all your website visitors know that we had a great day touring Evergreen Plantation and Airboating the swamp 2/15/03.
Renee did a wonderful job covering the history of not just the plantation but also of Louisiana plantation history and Creole beginnings. Evergreen is very scenic and a treasure to view and learn about. I was surprised that Renee was not a member of the family who owned Evergreen - she seemed so comfortable recounting its history.
If anyone wants to take a swamp tour - the Airboat method is the way to go. This was our third swamp tour, though yours was far and away the one that made us feel we were making our way into swamp and marsh lands that other folks just don't get to see. Being able to travel on what looked to be less than an inch of water and work our way between trees, took us in for alligators, nutria, raccoon, numerous birds and even a bald eagle - probably other animals that were watching us even if we weren't spotting them.
Benjamin provided us with a local young-adult perspective on the fish, animals and lifestyle of the swamp and surrounding area. He was great to be with and provided us with knowledge and entertainment and a sample of his alligator roundup skills.
We will be coming back to tour the swamp with Airboat Adventures again. Next time braving the warmer months to get a taste of the swamp in another season.
All the best .

We
are so happy we chose your organization for our swamp adventure. It was
the most professional, thorough and thrilling adventure - most definitely
the highlight of our New Orleans vacation! Thank you to Chris
for the personal attention and the great conversation during lunch.
Thank you to Benjamin for his knowledge and humor while navigating us through
the swamps. While we did not see Benjamin waist high in the swamp with a
nutria or alligator in hand, we loved our trip! Thank you all for the
great memories and we will definitely watch for you on the National Geographic
Channel in March!

Hi Chris and Benjamin, January 7, 2003 cold weather and all
we enjoyed an exhilarating day on your airboat. An adventure it was with
Benjamin at the helm. We were most impressed with Benjamin's ability to
navigate through the most narrow of passage-ways. Many thanks Benjamin. As my
uncle from England summed it up for all of us 'The airboat was the highlight
of the trip to New Orleans'. Many thanks Renee for an excellent narrative. You
took us back in time describing the lives of the families and the slaves who
inhabited Evergreen Plantation. You took a over a hundred years of history and
summed it up quite vividly. We'd sure like to do the entire tour again! Nancy

Chris & Benjamin: We have been trying to think of a way
to adequately describe our day with you and we are still at a loss for words.
To describe it in one word, it would be “Won-der-ful”. The one thing we
keep thinking is “We were not ready for it to end”. Even though it was
colder than %@X!^&*, we still experienced the best part of our visit to
New Orleans! We would also like also to thank you for the tour of EVERGREEN
PLANTATION. What an incredible feeling to stand on that lane paved with shell,
lined with Live Oak and see the 22 cabins that served as slave quarters in
their original locations. It truly was a memorable moment. We felt transported
and connected to a time long ago. Should we have the opportunity to visit
"NOLA" again; another tour with Airboat Adventures would first on
our list of priorities. However, we would want to spend no less than a full
day out in the swamp with you guys. Thanks for an all-around incredible
experience! With warm regards: Alan & Sue Zentz

Hi Chris, My wife and I just wanted to thank you again for
such a wonderful tour. We went on the tour on December 12th. The weather
wasn't the best but was still one of the highlights of our vacation. The
pictures we have holding the alligator turned out great. Benjamin was a great
guide. His knowledge, friendliness and humour added to the experience. We will
definitely recommend you to anyone we know that will be going down there.
Thank you for the restaurant recommendations. K-Paul's was amazing. The turtle
soup was great. As well we went to Commander's Palace for their Jazz brunch
and it was also a great meal. Thank you again for helping to make our vacation
a memorable experience. Geordie Clyde

Hello Chris and Benjamine, My mother and I were on your
tour 1-7-03- We had such a nice day!! Your whole operation from start to
finish, was thought out and perfect for a day adventure. The Evergreen
Plantation was very interesting- we never realized how diverse the cultures
were. We always just thought French & American influences- We were hoping
for a tad of a warmer day, to walk around the property, but Mother Nature did
not rain on us :> Having a lite lunch was just perfect, also-- The
restaurant folks were real friendly !! I was not aware we were going to stop,
but it was perfect timing--- Your guide Benjamine (I hope this is spelled
correctly) was such a delight !! He really made the trip so " MUCH FUN
" --- If he would have wrestled an alligator- that would have topped off
a perfect day. We were sitting up front & thank you so much for getting
the sleeping bags, it made the day comfortable. Well when we hit the marsh,
that was the best. My Mother was holding on for dear life, & just loved
the thrill. Tell Benjamine, we had a marvelous afternoon. His stories and
route was perfect, what a really nice young man!!!! Chris, your
recommendations for restaurants, was a big help-- You have no idea- We usually
ask the locals, but you gave us all the scoop without a nudge. You truly are a
people person, and made everyone feel at ease. (like you had known us all,
prior to our outing) We went to Christians (we decided that was the best meal
and service, during our trip)...Also The Acme Oyster House (the fresh oysters
topped off Wed. afternoon) We truly Thank You for a Great Adventure!!!! And a
DAY FOR THE BOOKS! Friendly regards, Laura Price Huber Heights, Ohio

FOLKS, HERE IS MY TWO CENTS WORTH REGARDING BILL'S EMAIL
(BELOW). He suggests we use outboards to access the swamp.
Obviously, folks, Bill has never been in a swamp or he'd know that's
impossible! Anyway..... Dear Bill, where does it say we use our airboats
on a WMA? Did you know we run our tours on 12 square miles of PRIVATELY OWNED
land? Bill, have you ever been on an airboat? Did you know that animals
acclimate to noise (studies prove this) and that we see deer, up close (25-40
yards) on our tours about one of every five trips (not every 5 days, every 5
trips). Did you know we see the same deer (plural), in the same area, about
once a week? That often we will stop the boat, tell the passengers, "This
is where we usually see 3 deer, a doe and two yearlings.", and then lo
and behold, Bill, we go another 50 yards and what do you think we see? Did you
know that in the spring, we have owls that come to the boat because they know
that small fish and crayfish will be washed up on the bank? Did you know we
have stopped to watch owls from approximately 15 feet, and have, on more than
one occasion, had them swoop down to catch a frog, minnow or crayfish, coming
so close to the boat that their wings hit the gunnel (do you know what a
gunnel is, Bill?) Bill, did you know that every year we educate thousands
(yes, thousands) of people about the importance of wetlands, about the
critical need for funding of our wetlands restoration projects and freshwater
diversions, about the problems with saltwater intrusion, subsidence and
coastal erosion? Bill, did you know the Mississippi Delta has shifted position
6 times in the last 7,500 years? Do you care? Do you know that, if not for
human intervention, the Mississippi River would have switched to the
Atchafalaya channel in 1973? Bill, do you know that the airboat is the ONLY
way we can get into the places we go? That's right, Bill, you can't take an
outboard, you can't walk, wade or paddle, you can't take a canoe, kayak or
pirogue. So, Bill, how do you propose we share this dynamic environment with
our visitors? Oh, that's right, we're supposed to use an outboard motor!
Bill, do you know that our guests get so much more than an airboat
"ride", and that they all leave with a deeper appreciation of our
wonderful wetlands? Maybe that's why we're the most expensive airboat tour,
Bill, but maybe that's also why we're the best. Can you kind of get a
hint of this by reading our guestbook, Bill, that it's not about the airboat,
but about the beautiful place we show them and the knowledge, information and
passion we share with them? Bill, get your facts straight before you accuse
people of doing things you obviously know nothing about. Chris Raggio, Airboat
Adventures.

I have noticed that some of your airboat tours take place
in a public wildlife management area. You should be banned from using noisy
airboats in such an area. The WMA should be used with outboard motor boats
that are less noisy and intrusive than airboats. Please try to find another
way to take people into the swamps besides airboats if you feel you must use
this management area for your tours.

Chris and Donnie, I just wanted to say what a great time we
had at the plantation and on the airboat. Although the weather was cold (for
New Orleans, not for Canada - December 6th) and there were no Gators, we saw
all sorts of other animals and birds. What a blast, it was the highlite of our
trip. We can't wait to come back in the summer to take the tour again and meet
the gators. eh! Special thanks to Donnie, for taken the extra time to take us
down by the river to see the Bon Fires to light the way for Papa Noel. Overall
it was a great experience and memories that will last forever....Thanks...

Hi Chris, Could you show this mail to Benjamin please?
Thanks. Hi Benjamin, Most of the people in your guestbook are from the USA. We
want to say that we, 2 Belgian girls, really enjoyed our tour with you
november the 3th. I hope you remember us. Your swamp tour was great, but you
were more interessting. So cute, so funny, so enthousiastic! It was a
beautifull experience and we learned a lot. We would recommand this tour to
anyone from Belgium to go to the 'Airboat adventures' in Louisiana. If you
ever travel to BELGIUM? Don't doubt to sent us an e-mail. You are welcome, as
we were in the USA. Benjamin, we're a little bit worried about your leg when
you felt on the airboat by pushing a tree (in the swamp). Were you allright?
Oh, and we didn't find your favourite café between Alabama and Florida while
our trip to Florida. Please send us an e-mail back!! greetings, Melinda and

Dear Chris: Thanks again for so graciously accommodating
our entire family of 12 on your tour (11/22/02). We were all in NO celebrating
my 40th birthday. I did a lot of things while I was there to help me forget
about turning 40, but nothing made me feel more young--or ALIVE--than holding
that alligator! Your tour was indeed the highlight of our trip: more exciting
than meeting the New York Nicks (they were staying at our hotel); more
exhilarating than the debauchery of Bourbon Street; more thrilling than grave
yards, vampires, and haunted houses; and even more interesting than the big
movie being filmed in the streets of the FQ! Our group ranged in age from 5 to
65 and every one of us enjoyed the tour because there was something for
everyone: speed, scenery, wildlife, history, and best of all, hanging out with
locals (the guides and the critters). To
any one considering this tour: pass on the parade, miss the jazz music, skip
the shopping, and definitely by-pass those party boat tours. Get yourself on
Airboat Adventures for a truly wild ride. Gina

Chris, Thanks again for taking such good care of us. The
girl who couldn't come on the tour was very unhappy when I told her about the
good looking manly men who were our guides. The snacks you brought with you
were great - we'll all be on the internet trying to order tasso. We enjoyed
some beer and shrimp for dinner too. Really, would not have gone to a place
like that without Ron's recommendation but the food was great and the price
was right! Thanks again for everything and I'll be sure to pass the word about
what a great tour you guys have.

Hello Chris, Now that I am back from travelling (I went
straight to Italy and then France after coming back from New Orleans!), I
wanted to drop you a quick note about our Swamp Adventure: FANTASTIC! My
delegates and I had an amazing time discovering the swamps and their natural
beauties. And we encountered at least 7 alligators! Both our guides (Benjamin
and his colleague) were very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about their
jobs and the swamps that we could have spent at least another 2 hours with
them. Needless to say you will hear from Eclipse in the future should we have
another group in New Orleans! With best wishes, Sandra

Chris, I have only gone thru a few of my photos from our
"swamp tour" on Monday with Benjamin. I am still talking about it to
anyone that will listen! I truly enjoyed it. Its right up there with my trip
to Africa last fall, and I didn't think many things would come close. The
swamp is beautiful in its own right, just as the Serengeti in East Africa, or
the mountains in Yosemite valley...... This was my second trip with my Nikon
digital, and I am very happy with the way it performed. I just used it for a
photo session earlier in my studio and it does great with studio light
too......the digital world has got me hooked, and not so very long along I was
NOT a believer or even interested in shooting with one. If you ever have any
questions on photography issues, please feel free to email me. Thanks again,
and be sure and tell Benjamin thank you too, I'll send you more photos as I go
thru them. Jody Ross

My friends Rachel, Jake, Ashley, Jim, Jacob and I went on
one heck of an amazing ride with Airboat Adventures. We traveled with Chris
across the water cringing each time our boat flew over a log or piece of
debris. We made friends with snakes, alligators, small furry creatures and
spiders. I learned that an airboat goes super fast, swamp-smelling perfume
would not be profitable on the market and that my boyfriend does not like to
touch venomous animals. I recommend Airboat Adventures to anyone eager for an
exciting thrill through Louisiana's beautiful bayou. Yams

Donnie and Chris. We wanted to let you know that we
thoroughly enjoyed the swamp tour on Saturday. It got off to a rocky start
when our guest from Tenn. fell into the boat and dislocated her finger and
hurt her knee but it only got better from there when Donnie was showing off a
baby gator and he turned his head for a second and the gator decided to go for
a quick snack. That gator had Donnie's fingers in his mouth for about 7 or 8
min. It was a little bit scary but quite adventurous. Where else but La. can
you have so much fun all in one day. Thanks for the fun and great adventure.
